Thoughts From The Garden
The garden has always been a place of beauty and wonderment—Its peaceful setting beckons to us to rest our minds and hearts and be in awe. Such is the case in God's garden, where we take our shade from the sometimes scorching sun and enjoy the pleasures of His presence. In His garden, God meets with us to share His heart, and to lift the heavy burdens. Like the tender flower, He knows our frame and gently handles us with loving care. He also prunes us in His garden, in order that we might bear much fruit. He delights in taking care of His garden—so that we might be called trees of His righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that His name may be glorified.
Show me Your ways, O Lord,
Teach me Your paths. Lead me
in Your truth and teach me, for
You are the God of my salvation;
on You I wait all the day.
(Psalm 25:4 & 5)
