Bible Wisdom For Daily Living

Wisdom is the principal thing...
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get
wisdom, and in all your getting, get understanding.
Exalt her, and she will promote you; she will bring you
honor, when you embrace her. She will place on
your head an ornament of grace; a crown of glory
she will deliver to you.
Proverbs 4:7-9
~
How much better it is to get wisdom than gold and to get
 understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.
 Proverbs 16:16

Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not;
neither decline from the words of my mouth.
Proverbs 4:5
~
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God,
who gives to all liberally and without reproach,
and it will be given to him. But let him ask in
faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like
a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
For let not that man suppose that he will receive
anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded
man, unstable in all his ways.
James 1:5-8

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge Him
and He shall direct thy paths.

He that has no rule over his own spirit is like
 a city that is broken down, and without walls.

Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price
 is far above rubies.

  The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to depart
 from the snares of death.

A man's heart devises his way,
but the Lord directs his steps.

As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the
countenance of his friend.

a man understand his own way.

Show me Your ways, O Lord,
Teach me Your paths. Lead me
in Your truth and teach me, for
You are the God of my salvation;
on You I wait all the day.
