Psalm 103:13 & 14

Monday Greetings,

A new day, a new week has sprung forth by the commandment of God. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. Without Him, we can do nothing.

"As a father pities his children, so the Lord pities those who fear Him. For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust." (Psalm 103:13 & 14)

Put on Your Jewels of Pleasant Words

Greetings on a blessed Friday morning,

Rise and shine with the light of God's glory! Put on your jewels of pleasant words.

Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the bones. (Proverbs 16:24)

Valentine's Day Greetings

He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love. (Song of Solomon 2:4)

Behold, you are fair, my love! Behold, you are fair! You have dove's eyes behind your veil. Your hair is like a flock of goats going down from Mount Gilead. (Song of Solomon 4:1)

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these. (Mark 12:30-31)

The Lord is My Shepherd

(Psalm 23)

The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Morning Glory: A Daily Serving of God's Word

The Future Glory of Zion
(Isaiah 35)

The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, and the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose; it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, even with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, the excellence of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the Lord, the excellency of our God.

Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees. Say to those who are fearful-hearted, "Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God; He will come and save you."

Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb sing. For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert. The parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water; in the habitation of jackals, where each lay, there shall be grass with reeds and rushes.

A highway shall be there, and a road, and it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, but it shall be for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool, shall not go astray. No lion shall be there, nor shall any ravenous beast go up on it; it shall not be found there. But the redeemed shall walk there, and the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with singing, with everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Sunday Meditation: Be Still and Know that He is God

The Lord God, Creator of the ends of the earth, the Great God of all flesh, the Maker of things visible and things invisible. The All Wise God, the All Knowing God, the God Who inhabits our praise. Stand in awe of His love and mercy. Holy and mighty in power. Be humble in His sight.

"There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High." (Psalm 46:4)

"Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!"
(Psalm 46:10)

A Meditation: Today is a Gift from God

Today is a gift from God. "Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation! Selah. (Psalm 68:19)

He has given us His Word whereby man shall live. His Holy Spirit to those who believe on Him, without measure. His amazing grace and a hope that anchors the soul. Strength for the journey and peace that surpasses all understanding. His deliverance, His longsuffering and His forgiveness. His correction, His mercy and His justice, all wrapped in love.

Time would fail to tell of all His benevolence. Yet, consider His works and providence in creation.

Psalm 104 (Some excerpts below):

"He sends the springs into the valleys; they flow among the hills. They give drink to every beast of the field; the wild donkeys quench their thirst. By them the birds of the heavens have their home; they sing among the branches. He waters the hills from His upper chambers; the earth is satisfied with the fruit of Your works. He causes the grass to grow for the cattle and vegetation for the service of man, that he may bring forth food from the earth, and wine that makes glad the heart of man, oil to make his face shine, and bread which strengthens man's heart.

He appointed the moon for seasons, the sun knows its going down." (Psalm 104:10-19)

This great and wide sea in which are innumerable teeming things, living things both small and great. There the ships sail about; there is that Leviathan which You have made to play there. These all wait for You, that You may give them their food in due season. What You give them they gather in; You open Your hand, they are filled with good. You hide Your face, they are troubled; You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust. You send forth Your Spirit, they are created; and You renew the face of the earth. (Psalm 104:25-30)

All these and more He does. The Lord is good and His mercy endures forever.
Worship and bow in His presence. Praise the Lord!

Bible Verses About Love

Many waters cannot quench love, nor can the floods drown it. If a man would give for love all the wealth of his house, it would be utterly despised. -Song of Solomon 8:7
