Inspiration For Our Daily Christian Walk

God gives His people power in the valleys, to walk on the high places, to drink of His rivers and streams, to walk in the light of His Word, to walk in the Spirit. With Him is the fountain of life.

Praise His holy name!

Happy New Year! The Sovereign Lord Reigns

Blessed be the Lord God of the ages. He rules over the nations with a scepter of righteousness. All His purposes and His determined counsel shall stand.

He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. God who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty. Glory to His name!

Our life and times are in His hands; the sum of our years are in His book. Therefore, we rest in His unfailing love, trusting and committing our ways to Him who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance.

The Lord be with you on your journeys! Amen.

Inspiration For Our Daily Christian Walk: Rest in the LORD

Trusting in the Lord, we can have and enjoy blessed rest for the mind, spirit, soul and body. Believe in Him and enter in.

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. (Matthew 11:28-30)

Cast your burden upon the LORD, and He will sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. (Psalm 55:22)

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. (Isaiah 26:3)

Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. (Luke 6:12)

The captive exile hastens, that he may be loosed, that he shall not die in the pit, and that his bread should not fail, but I am the LORD your God, who divided the sea whose waves roared. The LORD of hosts is His name. (Isaiah 51:14-15)

There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself  also ceased from his works as God did from His. (Hebrews 4:9-10)

And on the seventh day, God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. (Genesis 2:2)

Inspiration for the Christian Journey

Good morning and Happy Wednesday!

"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it." (Matthew 7:13 & 14)

On this Christian journey, the Lord has promised never to leave us nor forsake us. He has given us His peace, His joy and all sufficient grace. He is with us every step of the way and the path like the light of dawn, shines brighter and brighter until the full light of day!

A Prayer:
Thank You Lord for being the way, the truth and the life. In Your holy name, we pray. Amen.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ...

Scripture Meditation

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls."
1 Peter 1:1-9
