Evening Meditation
"I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy Word above all thy name." (Psalm 138:2)
Reflection:
God has magnified His Word above His name. Meditating upon this should leave one in awe with a hope-filled soul. Every word God has spoken is true — every instruction, every prophecy, every promise. God's Word cannot fail; His Word cannot be destroyed. Trust and obey. Rest sweetly in His care.

Morning Devotion: Go Higher in the Lord, Behold His Glory
In the Epistle of Paul the Apostle, to the saints in Christ Jesus in Philippi, he "painted a picture" of true circumcision: "For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh." (Philippians 3:3)
To emphasize this further, he stated a number of his achievements: "If anyone else thinks he may have confidence in the flesh, I more: circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee; concerning zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless." (Philippians 3:4-6)
After having an encounter with God and entering into a personal relationship with His Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Apostle Paul reckoned, "But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me." (Philippians 3:7-12)
He continued, "Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 3:13 & 14)
It is clear in the aforementioned Bible passages, that our Christian walk is one of faith working through love in Christ, and thereby we have received the righteousness of God; not from the law which was a shadow of things to come, or any human effort. For Christ has fulfilled the law for us, so now we can walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
When we hunger and thirst for the Living God, when we humble ourselves before Him, He will take us higher and deeper in the knowledge of Him. We were called with a holy, high calling; we have no righteousness of our own.

Fruit of the Spirit in a Yielded Vessel
A Prayer:
Dear Gracious Lord,
Not my will, but Yours be done. I submit my life to You. You love us so much and want us to become men and women in whom Your Spirit dwells in unbroken fellowship. A holy temple that's free from sin and the effects thereof. Thank You for making Your children to be trees of Your righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that we may bring glory to Your name. Our lives are beautiful because of You who bore our sins and brought us salvation. Thank You for the power of the Holy Spirit at work in us, molding and changing us to be like You, in what we think, say and do. In Your holy name, we pray. Amen.

Praise & Worship
Friday greetings,
Let us sing and rejoice in the Lord, our God! Glory in His holy name!
Let us sing and rejoice in the Lord, our God! Glory in His holy name!
From David's Song of Thanksgiving:
"Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; make known His deeds among the peoples! Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; talk of all His wondrous works! Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord! Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face evermore!" (1 Chronicles 16:8-11)

In the Presence of the King
Good morning, highly favored! Bask in the presence of the Lord, our King!
We understand from the Word of God (1 Thessalonians 5:9), that God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. Praise God!

Dead to Sin, Alive to God!
Happy Wednesday! Dead to Sin, Alive to God!
According to the Word of God, as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death.
"Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection.
Knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin.
Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:4-11)
Thanks be to God for His finished work. He who has begun His good work in us, will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Praise God!

The Chief Cornerstone
Good morning in the Redeemer's name, Jesus our Lord and Savior!
Trust that you are delighting yourselves in Him who called us from darkness into His glorious light. That you are trusting and abiding in His love.
It is He who upholds us by His power; without Him, we can do nothing. He was rejected by men, but He for whom are all things and by whom are all things, is the Captain of our salvation, the Builder of His church. There is no other name whereby mankind can be saved.
"The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone."
-Psalm 118:22
