{Psalm 150} Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament! Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness! Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the lute and harp! Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes! Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with clashing cymbals!
In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, "If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." (John 7:37 & 38) A Prayer: Thank You Lord God for the Holy Spirit whom You have given to those who believe in You and the promise of eternal life. In a dry and thirsty land, we need You more and more. We pray that Your Word will run swiftly in all the earth and be glorified. Draw souls by Your power—to come, to drink, to live in the fullness of Your grace. In Your holy name, we pray. Amen.
Blessed to Be a Blessing Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! (Psalm 107:21) Thank You Lord God for the gift of Your salvation. Thank You for friends and family and the opportunities to minister Your grace to strangers in our path. Be in the midst of our feasts, as we celebrate Thanksgiving Day. Your manifold blessings are too numerous to count and we thank You for them. May gratitude be our way of life, each and every day. In Your holy name, we pray. Amen.
Are there tears in your eyes? Sorrow in your heart? Jesus cares for you and me. There is a Balm in your Gilead. "Blessed are they that mourn; for they shall be comforted." (Matthew 5:4)
Thank You Lord God for this new day and the wonderful blessings you bestow upon the lives of those who seek to know You and to delight in your ways. Thank You for the Holy Spirit whom You have given, who teaches and works in us that which is pleasing in Your sight. Cause us to eat Your words and to live by them. In Your holy name, we pray. Amen.
